According to the decision, the subjects eligible for Tet bonuses are all employees participating in working at the company, with a list up to February 10, 2026, including subjects on leave under the regime and subjects on unpaid leave.
To consider bonuses for workers, the company will base on the classification of bonuses for annual production and business results and the level of monthly work completion of workers (according to types A, B, C).
The company stipulates the 2026 Lunar New Year bonus as follows: Type A: Bonus 14% income in a month; Type B: Bonus 12% income in a month; Type C: Bonus 10% income in a month.
Income in the month includes: Direct product salary, indirect product salary, overtime salary, annual production and business results bonus.
Month of maternity leave or adopted children of female employees: Bonus 9% of the basic salary applied from January 1, 2025 onwards.
The total annual Tet bonus of each employee is equal to the total bonus for the months of the year combined.
For employees who are on probation or have just signed a labor contract, the bonus will also be calculated as above. If the bonus is worth less than VND 500,000, the company will reward VND 500,000/person.
According to the decision, the list of Tet bonus payments, units will complete on January 31, 2026, and Tet bonus payments on February 12, 2026 and February 13, 2026.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Chairman of the Company's Trade Union - said that previously, the company regulated the Lunar New Year bonuses as: 9%, 10% and 11%.
"This year, the Executive Board of the Trade Union initially proposed that the company's leaders consider increasing Tet bonuses for workers to make workers more excited as well as attract more workers after Tet. After that, the business leaders decided to increase the rate to 11% - 14%," said Mr. Hung.
According to the report dated December 25 of the Department of Home Affairs of Bac Ninh province, regarding the Lunar New Year bonus in 2026, 1,211 enterprises have developed a bonus plan for 511,449 employees. The average bonus is 7,880,000 VND/person; the highest bonus is 400,000,000 VND/person, belonging to the foreign-invested enterprise sector; the lowest bonus is 100,000 VND/person.
Regarding Lunar New Year bonuses, out of 1,334 enterprises that have reported, for the Lunar New Year bonus in 2026, 778 enterprises have developed a bonus plan for 325,262 employees; the average bonus is 560,000 VND/person.
The highest bonus is 219,080,000 VND/person, belonging to the private enterprise sector; the lowest bonus is 100,000 VND/person.
According to the report of 1,334 enterprises in Bac Ninh province employing 643,084 workers (equivalent to about 80% of workers working in enterprises in the province), the average salary in 2025 is 9,987,000 VND/person/month.
The highest salary is 461,000,000 VND/person/month, belonging to the foreign-invested enterprise sector.
