On December 27, the Department of Home Affairs of Dong Nai province just reported on the labor situation, salaries, bonuses and Tet care for workers in the area.
Based on reports from nearly 1,500 businesses, the highest Lunar New Year bonus in Dong Nai province currently recorded is 840 million VND for the private enterprise sector. In this sector, the average bonus for employees is about 11.4 million VND/person.
For FDI enterprises, the highest bonus is 700 million VND and the average bonus is 13.3 million VND/person.
The 2026 New Year holiday also recorded the highest bonus of up to 228.5 million VND at foreign-invested enterprises.
In addition to cash bonuses, businesses in the province also implement many other forms of care for workers such as organizing year-end parties, giving gifts from companies and grassroots trade unions, supporting bus tickets or arranging buses to take workers home for Tet.
The Department of Home Affairs has also closely coordinated with the Provincial Labor Federation to implement social welfare activities such as "Tet reunion", 0 VND booths, support for bus tickets, Tet gifts for workers in difficult circumstances and visit and support families affected by labor accidents. In the coming time, functional agencies will continue to monitor and urge businesses to properly implement salary and bonus policies to ensure security and order and rights for workers before the New Year.
