On January 21, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Member of the Central Military Commission, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army visited and presented Tet gifts to policy families, poor families, and workers in difficult circumstances in Hai Duong.
Also attending the working session and presenting Tet gifts were Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and representatives of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, the working delegation of Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet presented 200 gifts to policy families, 200 gifts to poor families, and 200 gifts to workers' families in difficult circumstances in Hai Duong.
The delegation directly presented 30 gifts to policy families, poor families and workers in difficult circumstances. The remaining gifts were sent by the delegation to the Hai Duong Provincial Military Command, the Hai Duong Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and the Hai Duong Provincial Labor Federation to be delivered to the families as soon as possible.
At the working session, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet highly appreciated the results that Hai Duong province achieved in 2024, including ensuring political security, social order and safety, and effectively attracting investment.
"With the spirit of patriotism and solidarity, in recent years, Hai Duong province has performed its tasks well. Hai Duong has risen to become a strong province in the country. These are proud points that the government and people of Hai Duong province have achieved" - Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet emphasized.
Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet expressed his hope that Hai Duong province will continue to pay attention to national defense and security, ensure social security, and take care of families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions, especially during Tet.
On this occasion, Senior Lieutenant General Trinh Van Quyet sent New Year greetings and wishes for a healthy and peaceful New Year 2025 to all cadres, party members, armed forces and people of Hai Duong province.
