Mr. Truong Nhu Thang - union member of Hue Mineral Joint Stock Company (Hue City):
What workers want most is for the Trade Union organization to continue to promote its representative role, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members by maintaining and improving the quality of collective labor agreements.
In my opinion, practical terms on salaries, bonuses, welfare regimes, labor safety or care for life have helped workers feel secure and stick with the business for a long time. In particular, I expect the "Trade Union Meal" program to continue to be maintained and increasingly improved in both quality and nutritional value. A nutritious meal not only helps workers regenerate labor after hard working hours, but is also a practical concern of the Trade Union organization for the health and life of union members.
When fully cared for both materially and spiritually, employees will have more motivation to work and contribute more to the business. I hope the Trade Union organization will continue to accompany, listen and bring more practical policies so that employees can feel secure in sticking with and building businesses to develop more and more.
Ms. Dang Thi Hieu - union member of VTJ Toms Textile and Garment Co., Ltd. (Quang Tri province):

I have worked at the company for nearly 5 years with an average salary of 8.5 million VND/month. Social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance... are fully paid by the company.
In addition, with proactiveness, enthusiasm and responsibility, the Executive Committee of the Company's grassroots Trade Union also regularly approaches and grasps the thoughts, aspirations, and recommendations of union members to propose to employers to organize dialogues, negotiations and sign collective labor agreements with many clauses that are more beneficial to employees than the provisions of law.
Specifically such as: 13-month salary bonus, Tet bonus of 2.5 months' salary, initiative bonus, unexpected bonus for employees; increasing the value of lunch meals to 25,000 VND/portion and 30,000 VND/portion for lunch meals on Sundays; organizing sightseeing and relaxation for managers 1 year/1 time, workers 2 years/1 time; supporting 30,000 VND/month for employees with young children up to 6 years old; International Children's Day June 1st and Mid-Autumn Festival support from 50,000 to 100,000 VND/child...
I am very grateful and feel that the Trade Union is truly a fulcrum, a place to send trust to care for and protect the rights of workers. I hope that in the coming time, the Trade Union will continue to care for, accompany and have many practical and meaningful actions to share the difficulties and hardships of workers, helping workers have more motivation to work and produce, and stabilize their lives.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh - union member of Camel Vietnam Rubber Co., Ltd. (Quang Tri province):

I have worked at the company for 12 years and realize that the company's Collective Labor Agreement in the past time has brought many practical benefits to workers, with more beneficial regimes than the provisions of law. Thanks to that, workers are assured to work and stick with the business.
I hope that in the coming time, the Trade Union and businesses will continue to negotiate and add more beneficial clauses on salaries, bonuses, benefits and care regimes so that workers can stabilize their lives, increase income, be attached to businesses for a long time and build businesses to become more and more sustainable.
