On the morning of August 7, at Factory Z129, the General Department of National Defense Industry held the closing ceremony of the 6th All-Army Mechanical Skills Competition in 2026.
Senior Lieutenant General Le Quang Minh - Deputy Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army attended and awarded prizes to collectives and individuals at the closing ceremony.
After 4 days of exciting, serious and responsible competition, the contestants participating in the Contest clearly showed their professional qualifications, professional skills, and the ability to master machinery, equipment and modern technology.
At the closing ceremony, the organizing committee awarded excellent prizes to 6 contestants, 12 contestants won first prizes, 18 contestants won second prizes, 24 contestants won third prizes and 25 contestants won consolation prizes. The contest also recorded 24 skilled workers.

Colonel Nguyen Hong Loi - Head of the National Defense Trade Union said that the success of the Contest has contributed to strongly arousing the aspiration to contribute, the spirit of learning, innovation, creativity and the will to conquer science and technology of soldiers and workers.
This will be the foundation and core core in production labor, scientific research and technical innovation, continuing to inspire and nurture the young generation of technical workers, contributing to bringing the movement "Practicing skills, competing for skilled workers", "Good labor, creative labor" to develop more and more deeply.

The National Defense Trade Union Committee and the Organizing Committee of the Contest expressed their gratitude and deep thanks to the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defense, the Head of the General Department of Politics, the leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and relevant agencies for their concern in leading, directing, close coordination and creating all favorable conditions for the Contest to be successfully organized.
The 6th All-Army Mechanical Skills Competition, taking place from July 4th to August 8th at Factory Z129, General Department of National Defense Industry, gathered 16 participating units with a total of 109 contestants participating in 6 occupations including: multi-purpose machinery, multi-purpose milling, welding, cooling, CNC machinery and CNC milling.
The contest continued to affirm the bravery, intelligence, sense of responsibility, will to overcome difficulties, industrial style and noble qualities of "Soldier-worker - Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new era.
