In 2 days, August 7 and 8, present on Nghiem Xuan Yem street (in front of Kim Van - Kim Lu urban area, Dinh Cong ward, Hanoi), Lao Dong Newspaper reporters recorded that there is no longer a situation of cars stopping and parking in violation of regulations.
Here, a camera monitoring system to support remote fine handling has been installed. Dinh Cong Ward Police also strengthened forces to propagate and remind people not to violate.
For cases of intentionally violating parking regulations, causing congestion, and potential risks of traffic unsafety, functional forces will resolutely handle them strictly.

After many years, this situation has been thoroughly resolved, making the area more airy and vehicles more convenient to move" - Ms. Le Thi Hoa (living in Kim Van - Kim Lu apartment building) said.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Xuan Tien, Deputy Head of Dinh Cong Ward Police, in the first 6 months of the year, the Ward Police have fined 113 cases of illegal parking with the amount of about 95 million VND, the situation of parking in rows 2 and 3 on some streets such as Nghiem Xuan Yem, Trinh Dinh Cuu... has basically stopped.

Over the past time, there has been information reflecting the situation of vehicles stopping and parking on both sides of the road on some inner-zone roads in Kim Van - Kim Lu Urban Area, causing road surface narrowing, affecting traffic and urban aesthetics.
According to Dinh Cong Ward People's Committee, the reason for the rampant parking of vehicles is that high-rise apartment buildings lack parking basements, while planned parking lots have not been built.
Currently, people in some urban areas have lived for many years but investors have not handed over infrastructure to the government (including Kim Van - Kim Lu Urban Area). Therefore, the management of roadways and sidewalks faces certain difficulties, many cars are parked blatantly blocking fire truck paths at high-rise apartment buildings.

To resolve it thoroughly, the local government is proposing that the city license a two-use parking lot model with a limited term on "suspended" project land funds and agricultural land to immediately relieve the pressure of static infrastructure.
At the same time, the Ward Police are applying technology solutions. Currently, 4 AI cameras have been installed at "black spots" (Kim Van - Kim Lu urban area and Lu bridge) to serve as a basis for remote fines.
Although only in the 30-day testing phase, the facility's report said that violations have decreased by 85 - 90%, ensuring traffic even during peak hours.
According to statistics, Dinh Cong ward has more than 101,400 people, over 31,500 households with about 7,000 cars.
Currently, the ward has 31 parking lots, but only 2 parking lots have licenses. Through inspection of 29 unlicensed parking lots, Dinh Cong Ward People's Committee has suspended the operation of 6 parking lots and is reviewing and licensing the remaining 23 parking lots.
