On August 29, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor issued an official dispatch on continuing to implement the online contest "Workers, civil servants, and laborers learn about the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law in 2024".
According to the document, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor said that the online contest "Workers, civil servants, and laborers learn about the Trade Union Law and the Social Insurance Law in 2024" organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will start from 0:00 on August 19, 2025 to 0:00 on October 1, 2025. With the support and active implementation of trade unions at all levels, up to now, the contest has received the response and participation of many union members, workers, civil servants and laborers nationwide. Many localities and units have many union members and workers participating such as the Labor Federations of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Dong Thap, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Ninh Binh, Son La, Bac Ninh, Vietnam Railway Trade Union, Vietnam Textile and Garment Trade Union ... Besides the localities and units actively implementing, there are still some localities and units with many union members and workers, but the number of people participating in the Contest is limited.
The contest is a practical and meaningful activity, contributing to raising awareness among union members, workers, civil servants and employees about these two important Laws. To achieve good results in the contest, the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor recommends that units continue to promote communication on information media, digital platforms of units about the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law 2024 and information about the contest so that union members and workers know and actively participate in the contest.
In addition, localities and units continue to deploy and disseminate content, rules, and questions to employers, affiliated grassroots unions, and encourage union members and workers to actively participate in the Contest, especially localities and units with a low number of participants.
