For the Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union, the orientations of the 14th Congress and the Da Nang City Labor Federation on taking union members and workers as the center; building strong grassroots trade unions; improving the capacity to represent, dialogue and protect workers are particularly important contents.
Reality shows that workers today pay the most attention to stable jobs, income, meals, social insurance, health insurance, occupational safety and health, health care, housing and welfare policies. Therefore, Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union expects that in the new term there will be more mechanisms and resources for Trade Unions at all levels to focus more on practical care activities; expand union member welfare programs; strengthen resources to support health, housing, and education for children of union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
Hoa Xuan Ward Trade Union also expects this to be a term in which the trade union, especially the grassroots trade union, clearly demonstrates its role in the enterprise. I hope each enterprise will spend at least 1 day a year to organize activities on disseminating labor laws, internal regulations and unit regulations; Propagating the rights and responsibilities of workers in the digital age. This will help workers understand their rights and obligations, thereby minimizing disputes, creating harmonious, stable and progressive relationships at the enterprise.
We hope that trade union levels will continue to promote measures to reduce and move towards no longer having social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance debts. The fact that many units and businesses are late in paying and owing social insurance with large amounts and for a long time greatly affects the legitimate rights of workers and potentially poses a risk of impacting social security. We really hope that all levels and sectors will promptly direct to limit the above situation, ensuring that all businesses strictly comply with the Labor Code, Trade Union Law and legal regulations, contributing to ensuring the rights of workers and implementing sustainable social security.
