After the merger and consolidation of the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor and the Kon Tum Provincial Federation of Labor (old) into the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor (new), the Quang Ngai Provincial Federation of Labor directly directs and manages 416 grassroots unions with 84,363 union members/95,331 workers, civil servants, and laborers working in public service units at level 1, 2, 3; non-public service units; enterprises and trade unions.

The number of union members has increased, but the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor have promptly implemented projects and plans to arrange and perfect the organization and apparatus of trade unions; strengthen leadership, direction, grasp the ideological situation of cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers; stabilize labor relations in enterprises...
In the area of the Dung Quat Economic Zone Trade Union and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks, the Provincial Federation of Labor assigned union officials to be in charge of, monitor, and directly guide 39 grassroots trade unions with 53,633 union members/60,151 workers and laborers.
Grassroots trade unions have implemented many practical activities to care for union members and workers such as: visiting, giving gifts, giving "Union Shelters", organizing "Union Meals", conducting periodic health check-ups, occupational health check-ups, developing 155 union members and establishing 2 grassroots trade unions...
These activities have contributed to maintaining harmonious and stable labor relations in enterprises, preventing strikes and collective work stoppages; the lives and spirits of union members and workers have been increasingly improved.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation, the Provincial Labor Federation has directed and guided all levels of trade unions in the province to regularly monitor and grasp the situation of labor relations; supervise the implementation of the salary and bonus regime for workers; participate in working groups investigating labor accidents in Dung Quat Economic Zone. There are 4 enterprises organizing "Union Meals" with more than 2,000 workers and laborers participating, each meal worth 50,000 VND.
In the last months of the year, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to reorganize and streamline the organization and apparatus of trade union agencies according to the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee; focus on implementing well the work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers, especially the issue of unpaid wages and social insurance debts.
At the same time, establish grassroots trade unions in non-state enterprises by 2028, with a vision to 2033.
