On August 28, nearly 41,000 workers of THNH PouYuen Vietnam Company (Tan Tao Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) attended the "Union Meal" organized by the union in coordination with the company's Board of Directors.
In addition to the value of the portion of food provided by the company being doubled in value every day, the Trade Union of THNH PouYuen Vietnam Company also spends more money to help workers have delicious, nutritious meals and many desserts.
Workers are given rice with fried chicken thighs, braised meat, stir-fried vegetables, boiled vegetables, minced cabbage soup and desserts such as Cantaloupe Pudding, pineapple Yamix, avocado potato packaging. In addition to salty dishes, workers can choose vegetarian dishes if needed.
Attending the "Union Meal" with workers of THNH PouYuen Vietnam Company, Mr. Pham Chi Tam - Vice Chairman, Head of the Area Management Working Group No. 2 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation (VFF) - thanked the Board of Directors of THNH PouYuen Vietnam Company for their interest in accompanying the union organization in implementing the "Union Meal" initiated by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Union Meal is not only an opportunity for all employees of the company to have more delicious, quality meals, but also an opportunity to create more cohesion between employees and businesses, said Mr. Tam.

On the same day, nearly 2,760 workers of NIDEC Vietnam Transmission System Co., Ltd. (Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, Ho Chi Minh City) attended the "Union Meal" organized by the union in coordination with the company's Board of Directors. In addition to the daily meal value of VND20,000, the grassroots union has spent an additional VND50,000/meal/worker.
