Also attending the Union Meal were Colonel Nguyen Van De - Head of the National Defense Union Committee; Colonel Nguyen Van Tuan - Deputy Chief of Political Affairs, General Department of Logistics and Engineering.
Union meals are for 160 union members at a value of VND50,000/meal, of which VND25,000 is from union funds.
Speaking at the program, Colonel Nguyen Van De acknowledged and highly appreciated the sense of responsibility and proactiveness of the Executive Committee of the Z133 Factory Trade Union in coordinating the program organization.
The Head of the National Defense Trade Union Committee emphasized that the Trade Union Meal clearly demonstrates the accompanying and caring role of the trade union organization in the lives of workers.
On this occasion, the National Defense Trade Union presented 15 gifts to 15 union members in difficult circumstances, each worth VND500,000; leaders and commanders of Z133 Factory presented 10 gifts, each worth VND500,000 to 10 union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
These gifts have great spiritual value, demonstrating concern, sharing, and timely encouragement so that union members and workers can work with peace of mind and stick with the unit and the trade union organization.
Sharing at the Union Meal, Colonel Nguyen Xuan Loi - Director of the Factory said that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution, National Day September 2 and the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, the grassroots trade union of Factory Z133 organized a warm and friendly Union Meal. This is an opportunity to review the glorious tradition of the Vietnam Trade Union and the National Defense Trade Union, and at the same time exchange and strengthen solidarity and cohesion between cadres and union members.
