The program "Tet not far from home" shows the concern of the City Trade Union for union members and workers who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet, thereby sharing and encouraging workers before Tet.
The program met and gave gifts to disadvantaged workers at the Self-Management Groups of the Boarding House in Son Tra district on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Manh Dung - Deputy Head of the Propaganda Department of the Da Nang City Party Committee said that the city currently has many businesses and policies that are closely and thoughtfully cared for by city leaders and all levels and sectors, especially aimed at supporting disadvantaged people and workers.
“On the occasion of the 2025 Lunar New Year, trade unions at all levels in the city have also devoted a lot of resources to support union members and workers. This includes support for self-managed worker groups in boarding houses in the districts, and support for many workers who do not have the conditions to return home for Tet. This is one of the very special concerns of the city leaders as well as the city's trade unions at all levels for workers,” said Mr. Dung.
In addition, the city and the Da Nang City Labor Federation also visited and presented gifts to workers in difficult circumstances at self-managed worker groups in the dormitory areas under the Labor Federation of Lien Chieu, Cam Le and Hoa Vang districts.
On this occasion, the city's Trade Unions at all levels also implemented many meaningful and practical programs and activities to care for the lives of workers in the city.
