The Vietnam General Confederation of Labor surveys the situation of labor relations at enterprises

Hanoi On August 26, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor conducted a survey on the situation of labor relations, workers and trade unions.

This is an activity to serve the development of the Vietnam Trade Union Adaptation and Development Strategy in the new situation.

The survey team was led by Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu. The delegation learned about the situation of labor relations, workers and trade unions at the Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited Trade Union.

Mr. Maruyama Tsuyoshi - General Director; Akira Kikuchi - Senior Executive Director; Ngo Ngoc Vinh - Executive Director, Chairman of the Trade Union of Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited; Nguyen Huy Khanh - Vice Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation were present at the survey.

Speaking here, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu suggested that the Company discuss the advantages and difficulties in operations.

The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor emphasized the role of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new context with many opportunities and challenges, requiring innovation to affirm the role of the only organization representing workers.

The total number of employees of Stanley Vietnam Electricity Company Limited currently working at the enterprise is 2,299 people; 100% of employees participate in social insurance, health insurance, unemployment insurance; there is no situation of late payment or insurance debt. The company strictly implements maternity, sick leave, leave, periodic health check-ups, salaries, Tet bonuses, etc. according to the provisions of law; complies with regulations on working hours, holidays, annual leave; there is no situation of overtime exceeding the permitted level or not paying overtime pay in accordance with regulations.

In order to listen, ensure good rights and regimes, and create relationships between employers and employees, the Executive Board of the Trade Union coordinates with the Company's Board of Directors to successfully organize an annual Labor Conference and a Dialogue Conference between the Company's Board of Directors and representatives of the collective of employees.

That is one of the important factors that has not caused any labor disputes since its establishment.
