Can Tho - The labor market in Can Tho City in 2025 witnessed a clear change in job search trends.

The 2025 labor market analysis report and the 2026 human resource demand forecast of the Can Tho City Employment Service Center (DVVL) show that last year, the city witnessed a clear change in the job-seeking trend of workers (NLD). The number of workers in need of finding jobs was 68,525, mainly concentrated in the general labor group.

Among them, the 5 occupational groups that workers in Can Tho have the most job search needs are food processing workers, woodworking, garment and other related handicrafts (22.65%); general staff and paperwork staff (11.11%); simple labor group (11.10%); business and management staff (9.37%). Finally, construction and related labor group (6.77%).

Corresponding to these 5 groups, the center statistically found 5 occupations with the most workers looking for jobs in 2025: processing workers (10.3%); garment workers (7.92%); general - administrative - office workers (7.85%); business staff (7.21%) and construction technical technicians (5.63%).

In the job search demand of city workers, the general labor level group accounts for the highest proportion with 39.53%. The remaining groups are universities (26.73%), colleges (16.72%) and unskilled technical workers (8.59%).

In terms of age, the group from 18-29 years old has the highest job search demand (50.37%), the age group from 30-45 years old accounts for 38.35% and the lowest with 11.27% is the group from 46 years old and older. Regarding gender, the City DVVL Center found a negligible difference between the job search demand of male and female workers, with rates of 45.03% and 50.97% respectively.

In the context of fierce competition, workers not only focus on income but also pay deep attention to the working environment, development opportunities and the balance between work and life. In addition to finding jobs domestically, many workers also choose to work abroad, mostly in the Korean and Japanese markets, in order to improve income as well as accumulate international experience.

It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
