On June 8, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that the unit had awarded 162 scholarships worth more than 300 million VND to students in difficult circumstances and studious in the province.
This is an activity in response to the Action Month for Children in 2025; at the same time, it aims to demonstrate the concern and care of the trade union organization for the children of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) in difficult circumstances and studious.
According to the Provincial Federation of Labor, this is an annual activity of the trade union for children of workers in difficult circumstances who are studious. Thereby, contributing to encouraging the children to strive for excellent academic results and confidently pursue their dreams. This year, the Provincial Federation of Labor did not organize a scholarship awarding ceremony, but transferred the scholarships to the facilities to give directly to the students.
"I hope that through the scholarships awarded together with the heart and attention of the trade union organization, the children will overcome difficulties, study more and more to help their families and society," said Mr. Le Van Hoa - Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
In addition, trade unions at all levels in the province also organize many meaningful and practical activities to care for children of employees such as: mobilizing benefactors and union members to support and award scholarships; giving gifts such as school bags, school supplies... to children of employees in difficult circumstances...
