On June 5, the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) organized a scholarship awarding program for children of union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) in response to the Action for Children Month in 2025.


Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President of Can Tho City Labor Federation Nguyen Ngoc Tan informed that in response to the 2025 Action Month for Children with the theme " priorize resources to complete goals for children", the City Labor Federation and all levels of the Trade Union organized many practical activities such as awarding scholarships and summer programs to children of union members and employees who overcome difficulties and study well, etc.

Accordingly, the total budget for the activities is more than 340 million VND, from the Golden Heart Social Charity Fund in Can Tho and socialization mobilization.
At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 100 scholarships (600,000 VND/scholarship) to children of union members and employees who have overcome difficulties and excelled in their studies. In addition, the remaining 382 seats will be allocated to affiliated units.

The activities help enhance the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in mobilizing agencies, units, and enterprises to join hands to care for students who are children of union members and employees to overcome difficulties and study well in the city. At the same time, encourage and motivate students and create conditions to help them overcome difficulties, study, practice, strive to become good children, good students, good children of Uncle Ho.
In particular, summer camp activities take place after the scholarship awarding program to create conditions for students to participate in collective games and practice life skills.
