On October 26, ofi Vietnam Company awarded 165 scholarships worth more than 600 million VND to children of employees working at Bien Hoa 2 Cashew Factory, Tien Nga Cashew Factory and the factory cluster from Olam Vietnam Food Processing Company Limited (Long Thanh district).
This is the scholarship program “Supporting the development of education ofi YES!” for students who are children of employees working at ofi Vietnam nationwide. Each scholarship is worth at least 3 million VND and the highest is over 10 million VND.
In October 2024, ofi Vietnam will award a total of 358 scholarships to children of workers working in Dong Nai, Gia Lai, Phu Yen, and Binh Dinh provinces with a total amount of more than 1.2 billion VND.
The scholarship program for children of workers in difficult circumstances has been implemented by ofi Vietnam since 2020, with scholarship money increasing every year.
In the coming years, the company will continue to maintain scholarships and support workers' children on their educational path. The company hopes that students will always try their best in their studies, equipping themselves with sufficient knowledge and skills to become good citizens in the future, contributing much to society.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc An, Deputy Head of Dong Nai Industrial Park Management Board, said that in recent times, Vietnam has made great contributions to the State budget, carried out many community activities, and made efforts to maintain scholarships for workers' children.
In addition to material value, the above scholarships also have great spiritual significance, giving workers' children more motivation, faith in life and community, thereby striving to study and improve in life.
