On the afternoon of November 8, Dak Lak province authorities coordinated and determined the location of the Yak-130 plane crash in Yok Don National Park (Buon Don district).
It is known that the Yak-130 aircraft crashed near the ranger post of Ranger Station No. 9 of Yok Don National Park. Currently, Buon Don district authorities, along with military forces, are approaching the scene and continuing to handle the incident.
Earlier, on the morning of November 8, Colonel Tran Thanh Hai - Deputy Chief of Staff of Military Region 5 informed that thousands of people from the air defense, air force, military, and local authorities participated in the search at the suspected plane crash site in Krong Na commune, Buon Don district.
As reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, at around 11am on November 6, the Yak-130 training aircraft had an accident, so the two pilots in the flight crew, Colonel Nguyen Van Son and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Hong Quan, parachuted out of the aircraft.
The location of the two parachuting pilots' escape is in Tay Xuan commune (Tay Son district).
The Yak-130 training aircraft (serial number 2101) that had the accident belonged to Air Force Regiment 940, Air Force Officer School located in Binh Dinh province.
