The An Giang Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) has just organized the award ceremony for the photo contest "An Giang workers in work and life" 2026 for 4 collectives and 11 individuals from 149 works by 118 authors who are grassroots trade union members (CĐCS) throughout the province.
Specifically, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 special prize, 1 A prize, 1 B prize, 3 C prizes and 5 consolation prizes to the authors. The special prize was awarded to author Nguyen Van Dong, Trade Union unit of Kien Giang Lottery Company Limited.
Regarding the collective, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize and 1 consolation prize to units actively participating in the contest. The grassroots trade union of Kien Giang College won the first prize.
Previously, the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation launched the photo contest "An Giang workers in work and life" in 2026 with the theme "Beauty of grassroots trade unions".
Contest participants are trade union officials, union members, and workers (NLĐ) who are living, studying, working and working in An Giang province. Contestants must have an active Facebook account and email address for the Organizing Committee to contact when necessary.
Entries reflect beautiful images of trade union officials, union members, and workers (NLĐ) in labor production, work, study, living and trade union activities.
The content focuses on activities to care for, represent, and protect the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers; Patriotic emulation movements, good labor, creative labor; Cultural, artistic, sports, and social security activities launched by the Trade Union organization; Typical examples of trade union officials, union members, and workers.
According to the An Giang Provincial Labor Federation, the contest aims to propagate and promote the beautiful image of union members, workers, trade union officials and typical activities of the Trade Union organization; contributing to affirming the role and position of the Trade Union organization in caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
The contest honors typical collectives and individuals; beautiful images in labor production, work, study, life and participation in patriotic emulation movements launched by the Trade Union.
The contest also creates a healthy and useful cultural playground for officials, union members, and workers; recording meaningful moments in trade union activities, contributing to creating a widespread political and cultural activity in the provincial Trade Union system.
This is also a practical activity to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress; the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026); the 138th anniversary of the birth of President Ton Duc Thang (August 20, 1888 - August 20, 2026) and major holidays of the country and province.
