The Vietnam Education Union has just organized a public performance and summary award ceremony for the 2026 National Teachers' Singing Festival.

On the evening of July 21, the Vietnam Education Union (CĐGD) organized the award ceremony of the 22/7 Award - 3rd Vietnam Education Union; performance and summary award ceremony of the 2026 National Teachers' Singing Festival; celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Education Union.

Attending the program were Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Ms. Nguyen Thi Quyen Thanh - Deputy Minister of Education and Training; Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An - Chairman of the Education Union.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An - Chairman of the CĐGD - said that the award ceremony on July 22nd; performance and summary ceremony of the 2026 National Teachers' Singing Festival are meaningful activities in the series of events celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the CĐGD. This is not only an opportunity to review the journey of construction and development of the CĐGD organization but also an opportunity to continue to promote traditional values, identify new directions and new ways of doing things in the context of the country entering a development stage with many new requirements and expectations.

According to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc An, the strong innovations of the country, the education sector and the trade union organization are placing the requirement that each cadre, teacher, and worker constantly innovate their thinking, improve their capacity, skills and working methods to meet practical requirements. The spirit of innovation is not only limited to awareness but has become a consistent action motto in each task, each activity of teachers and trade union officials.

The Chairman of the CĐGD emphasized that the selection and honoring of typical trade union officials and the announcement of high-quality works of the 2026 National Teachers' Singing Festival demonstrates the determination to build a strong team of trade union officials, meeting the requirements in the new period. At the same time, affirming the role of the trade union organization in building a cultural, democratic, and humane working environment; caring for and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers, creating motivation to promote innovation and creativity in agencies, units and schools.

At the program, 16 outstanding trade union officials were awarded the 22/7 Award - Vietnam Education Union for the 3rd time in 2026.

The 6th National Teachers' Singing Festival - 2026 is organized in the form of music videos designed, staged and organized by officials, union members, teachers and students themselves.

The Organizing Committee awarded 1 Excellent prize; 7 First prizes; 12 Second prizes; 16 Third prizes; 32 Consolation prizes; 1 Specialized prize; 1 prize with the most views on the CĐGD fanpage for typical works, contributing to spreading the image of teachers, arousing the spirit of innovation, creativity and love for the profession in the teaching staff.

At the program, the CĐGD was honored to receive the Prime Minister's Certificate of Merit for its outstanding and typical achievements in activities on the occasion of the 80th Anniversary of the Successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
