On June 7, information from the Gia Lai Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit had just coordinated with the Phu Thien District Federation of Labor and the Ia Yeng Commune People's Committee to organize a handover ceremony of the "Union Shelter" house to the family of Ms. Siu H'Nhan - a union member with difficult housing circumstances.
The house has an area of about 60m2, built solidly and spaciously, including all the auxiliary works and essential items for daily life.
The total construction cost is largely supported by the 50 million VND support from the Provincial Labor Federation. The remainder was contributed by Ms. Siu H'Nhan's family with money and working days.
After more than 45 days of construction, the project was completed and put into use.
The "Union Shelter" program is an activity of profound humanitarian significance. Thereby, contributing to taking care of their lives, supporting union members to overcome difficulties, stabilize their housing, work with peace of mind and improve their lives.
This is also one of the practical solutions of the trade union organization in implementing social security policies in the area.
