On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia and Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu and the working delegation presented 300 gifts to policy households, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in Tuyen Quang province.
Each gift includes 1 million VND in cash and 1 gift worth 300 thousand VND.
As one of the policy households receiving Tet gifts this year, Ms. Ban Thi Lien (Yen Son district) said that every year, when Tet comes, her family receives gifts and care. She expressed her wish that the country will develop more and more so that there will be conditions to take better care of the people.
Ms. Ly Thu Hoa (Tuyen Quang City) emotionally shared: "The gift is small but meaningful, it is the care of the State and the Trade Union for workers in difficulty. We know that in any circumstance, we will not be left behind."
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, Tuyen Quang province arranged and planned to give 16,192 gifts with a total cost of over 6.7 billion VND to people with meritorious services, policy beneficiaries, and families in difficult circumstances.
In addition, the trade unions at all levels of Tuyen Quang province focused resources on visiting and supporting 8,000 gifts for union members and workers in difficult circumstances in the area with a total value of nearly 4 billion VND.
Mr. Nguyen Van Son - Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee said that taking care of the lives of policy beneficiaries, workers and laborers in difficult circumstances is one of the tasks that the province pays special attention to.
"In the coming time, Tuyen Quang will continue to effectively implement the province's political tasks, pay attention to caring for policy households, the poor, workers in difficult circumstances and ensure social security, soon completing the goal of becoming a fairly developed, comprehensive and sustainable province in the northern mountainous region," Mr. Son emphasized.
On this occasion, Head of the Central Propaganda Department Nguyen Trong Nghia and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to two Vietnamese Heroic Mothers Lam Thi Gia and Nguyen Thi Nhon in Tuyen Quang City.
