In the afternoon of September 10, the high-level delegation of the Russian Union of Independent Trade Unions visited and worked at the Trade Union University.
At the working session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung - Rector of the University of Trade Unions said that today's visit is very important, contributing to deepening the traditional friendly relations between Vietnam and the Russian Federation; between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Russian Union of Independent Trade Unions; and at the same time opening up more practical cooperation opportunities between training and research institutions in the trade union system of the two countries.
According to Mr. Le Manh Hung, in cooperation with the Russian Federation, the University of Trade Unions always considers the Academy of Labor and Social Relations in Moscow as a partner with many similarities in history, function and mission.
On September 19, 2022, the two sides signed a Cooperation Agreement, agreeing to promote cooperation in training, scientific research, academic exchange, exchange of lecturers, learners and coordinate the organization of conferences and scientific seminars" - he said.
On the occasion of the high-level delegation of the Russian Union of Independent Trade Unions visiting the School, Principal Le Manh Hung requested the Chairman of the Russian Union of Independent Trade Unions Sergey Ivanovich Chernogaev to pay attention, support, and connect so that the cooperative relationship between the University of Trade Unions and the Academy of Labor and Social Relations enters a new stage, more substantive and effective.
On behalf of the school, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung wished that the two sides would soon focus on implementing a number of specific contents: coordinating the development of short-term training and fostering programs for trade union officials; exchanging lecturers, experts, students, graduate students and research students; coordinating research, organizing seminars and workshops on labor relations, collective bargaining, social dialogue, protection of workers' rights, digital transformation, artificial intelligence and new issues posed to trade union organizations in the context of international integration.
Trade Union University is ready to assign specialized units to act as focal points to coordinate with the Academy to develop specific cooperation plans, clearly defining the content, roadmap, responsibilities and products.
We hope that after today's working session, the goodwill of cooperation will be transformed into specific, practical and sustainable programs and activities" - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Manh Hung expressed.
Mr. Sergey Ivanovich Chernogaev - Chairman of the Russian Independent Trade Union Federation, Head of the delegation, said that the two sides can coordinate to train generations of highly specialized experts; organize seminars, conferences, workshops and professional roundtables; and at the same time support the young generation in accessing working methods and teaching methods suitable to new requirements.
We believe that cooperation in education and training between the two units will be one of the important directions. These cooperation contents can be completely concretized and we are ready to receive proposals from the school," he said.
Mr. Sergey Ivanovich Chernogaev believes that the cooperation between the Academy of Labor and Social Relations in Moscow and the University of Trade Unions will continue to bring new, practical and effective results.
Through meetings, exchanges and working sessions like today, the friendly relationship between the two sides will be increasingly strengthened and developed.
