Lighting up dreams for workers
Ms. Pham Thi Be Tien - a sewing worker at Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise 38, Lien Huong Commune, Lam Dong Province) - shared that she always feels the care and help of the union and colleagues as relatives in the family.
Having worked at the factory for more than 7 years, during a recent health check-up, Ms. Tien was diagnosed with breast cancer. "At that time, I was completely devastated and disoriented. Thanks to the union cadres and the workers' encouragement and help, I was able to overcome it," she said emotionally.
The grassroots union called on union members to donate and support her with more than 76 million VND for treatment. Thanks to this source of spiritual and material encouragement, Ms. Tien has overcome 2 radiotherapy sessions, returned to work and prepared for further treatment.
I am very grateful to my brothers, sisters, and colleagues who have supported me during difficult times. I hope to get well soon so I can continue to work, meet and share with colleagues every day, she said.
The case of Ms. Lu Thi Phuong Thao - a 9th sewing line worker, who has been with the factory for more than 10 years - also left many emotions. For a long time, Ms. Thao has always tried to work with the dream of saving to build a small house for parents.
Understanding that situation, the grassroots union mobilized union members to donate 50 million VND, giving her support to complete a house worth more than 70 million VND.
"I don't even think I can have a house to protect me and my mother from the sun even though I'm dreaming. Now, when my dream comes true, I am truly moved and happy, Thao expressed.

Mr. Ho Thanh Sang - a worker in Garment Factory 1, Tuy Phong Garment Enterprise - shared: "The trade union here is truly a "common home", connecting workers through many practical care activities".
According to Mr. Nguyen Hoa - Chairman of the Tuy Phong Garment Factory Trade Union, the unit always focuses on organizing meaningful activities to connect and encourage workers.
