Commemorating the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), on July 20, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a program to visit and give gifts in gratitude to union members and workers at Thanh Hai Industrial Park.

At Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company, Mr. Bui Hoai Nam - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation - directly visited the production workshop, inquired about the working conditions and lives of workers.
Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Thuy, who has been attached to the company for nearly 10 years, said that aloe vera preliminary processing work often has to come into contact with water in a humid environment. However, in recent years, thanks to the coordination between businesses and grassroots trade unions, the labor environment has been increasingly improved.
In addition to stable income, workers also enjoy many welfare regimes such as organizing periodic Trade Union Meals, rewarding children who study well, and supporting union members in difficult circumstances.
In particular, the productivity assessment program according to the grape cluster KPI recently implemented by the grassroots trade union and the Company has encouraged employees to actively increase their labor rate and improve their income.
Working with the company's board of directors, Mr. Bui Hoai Nam also learned about the production situation, jobs and regimes for nearly 490 workers, mostly female workers.
According to Mr. Nam, this activity is not only to celebrate the founding day of the Vietnam Trade Union but also an opportunity for the Trade Union organization to directly listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members right at the workplace.
In July, the Provincial Labor Federation implemented many activities to show gratitude to workers, focusing on supporting union members who have been attached to businesses for many years. At the same time, paying attention to prioritizing cases of difficult circumstances and children of workers who need to be supported.
Trade Union meal connects workers with businesses
After the gift-giving program, a large number of workers and trade union officials at all levels, business leaders enjoyed "Trade Union Meals".
According to Mr. Tran Hanh - Chairman of the Grassroots Trade Union (CĐCS) of Canh Dong Viet Food Joint Stock Company, Trade Union Meals today are priced at 67,000 VND. In which, the CĐCS supports 40,000 VND, and the enterprise supports 27,000 VND.
This activity is maintained periodically. In addition to improving the quality of meals, the trade union also consults workers to change menus to suit workers' tastes.
Sharing meals with trade union leaders and businesses, Ms. Kim Ngan - a worker of the company - said, "Trade Union Meals not only bring delicious meals but also create a close space between workers and leaders.
I have the opportunity to share about my work and life. That concern makes us feel more clearly the accompanying role of the Trade Union organization, not only with gifts but also with listening and understanding," Ms. Ngan said.
From visits to workshops to Trade Union Meals, activities to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union in Khanh Hoa all aim to better care for the material and spiritual life of union members and workers, contributing to building harmonious and sustainable labor relations in enterprises.
