At Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu directly visited the patient rooms to inquire about the health status of patients who are trade union officials and workers who suffered labor accidents due to gas poisoning at a pig farm in Thanh Hoa.
At the same time, listening to reports from the team of doctors and nurses of Bach Mai Hospital, Ninh Binh facility, about the treatment process as well as the patient's recovery prognosis.

According to reports from doctors treating the above patients, there are 2 patients with respiratory failure, Tran Van Hoa and Pham Van Hoang, who were transferred to the Poison Control Department, Bach Mai Hospital, Ninh Binh facility for treatment after the accident.
Among them, patient Tran Van Hoa - is the Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union of Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd.
The Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor expressed deep sympathy for the losses and difficulties that patients and their families are facing after the incident.
Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu wished the patients to maintain their spirit, feel secure in treatment, and coordinate well with doctors to soon recover their health and return to normal life.
Reporting to Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Ngo Duy Hieu, a patient being treated at Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh, said that if there was no warning from Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union Tran Van Hoa, the number of victims could have increased.
Because, when going down to the tunnel to rescue colleagues, they discovered that there was toxic gas under the tunnel, comrade Tran Van Hoa warned the workers above not to continue going down to the tunnel. After that, comrade Tran Van Hoa fainted and was taken to the emergency room...
According to a representative of Bach Mai Hospital in Ninh Binh, immediately after receiving patients in the gas poisoning incident, the hospital mobilized personnel, equipment and coordinated with relevant departments to focus on rescue. Patients were closely monitored for their respiratory and circulatory conditions and possible complications due to the effects of toxic gas.
Representatives of the hospital said that thanks to timely emergency care and transfer, the patient's health condition has shown positive signs of improvement. Doctors and nurses are continuing to monitor, treat and provide comprehensive care to ensure the most favorable recovery process. Currently, the patient's condition has improved significantly compared to when they were first admitted to the hospital.

Previously, at about 5:30 pm on July 18, 2026, at the high-tech pig farm of Dabaco Thanh Hoa Co., Ltd. (under Dabaco Vietnam Group), located in Thach Quang commune, Thanh Hoa province, a labor accident occurred, killing 5 people and injuring many others.
