On March 10, representatives of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that in the period from the end of 2025 to the beginning of 2026, the world situation continues to be complicated and unpredictable with many risk factors. Besides many challenges, signs of economic recovery have also begun to appear: Global commodity trade is gradually improving, inflationary pressure is slightly decreasing, the financial market is supported by loose policies and the labor market is recovering positively.
In Hanoi, in 2026, the main growth driver of the City focuses on high-tech, green technology and value-added services. Reforms in infrastructure, especially transport infrastructure along with the financial system, including improving the capital market and tax incentives for innovation will be key factors for growth. Consolidated by these factors, Hanoi will break through and achieve sustainable and comprehensive development.
Regarding the recruitment situation in 2026, representatives of the Hanoi Employment Service Center said that recruitment demand will focus on the fields of technology, digitization, AI application and automation.
In the context of more and more businesses promoting technology upgrades, digitization, application of AI and automation in production and business operations, skills related to technology, digitization, and automation appear in the top skills searched by employers in 8/12 industries (an increase of 3 industries compared to last year). In which, the trend of digital transformation is most clearly shown in the finance and banking, energy and oil and gas, logistics and supply chains, manufacturing and engineering industries," said Mr. Vu Quang Thanh - Deputy Director in charge of the Hanoi Employment Service Center.
