According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, as of July 2025, the city has more than 7.2 million workers, civil servants, and laborers. Clearly aware of the role of families in the development of workers and society, the Ho Chi Minh City trade union organization has affirmed its role as a solid social security pillar for workers' families through practical activities.
The highlight in Binh Ngo Tet is the "Meaningful Ticket" and "Meaningful Market" programs that have supported more than 1.15 million union members in difficult circumstances with a total budget of over 1,083 billion VND.
During Workers' Month, the "City Trade Union Accompanying Workers' Health" Day was organized, contributing to early detection of disease risks and improving the quality of health care for this force.

Especially during periods of global economic fluctuations that heavily impact jobs, income and lives of millions of workers' families, trade unions have been and are maintaining many activities to care for and closely follow workers in life.
Speaking at the City CNVC-LD Family Day 2026, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Duong Anh Duc emphasized that on the journey to break through to become a global city and a leading economic and technological center in Southeast Asia, Ho Chi Minh City identifies human resources, especially the modern working class, as playing a decisive role.
To build a strong team, taking care of happy and progressive worker families is the core foundation. Because family is the place to form personality, nurture the aspiration to study, creative labor and the spirit of dedication of each person.

On this occasion, 77 typical union member and employee families in the City were commended. These are typical examples, achieving high achievements in labor and work; at the same time, they have made many efforts to overcome difficulties, organize a good family life, raise well-behaved children, and build a prosperous and happy family.
The festival also respectfully honors traditional families with many generations who have been and are attached to and persistently contributing to the trade union organization.
