Ms. Dang Thi Kim Lanh (42 years old, residing in Ky Khang commune, Ha Tinh province) is the Manager of the production department of Nam Ha Tinh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company (located in Vung Ang Economic Zone) shared that on June 20, in Ho Chi Minh City, her family was one of 95 families commended by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor as "Exemplary families of workers and civil servants nationwide" in the period 2021 - 2026.
My family is very excited, proud and grateful to the Trade Union organization for choosing and praising us. This is a motivation for my family to make more efforts in work and life to build a happy and exemplary family, contributing to the progress, civilization, and modernity of the homeland and country," Ms. Lanh shared.
Ms. Lanh said that she and her husband, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (43 years old), got married in 2009, and had 2 sons, the eldest is Nguyen Trong Hoang (born 2010) in 11th grade, and the youngest is Nguyen Trong An (born 2015) in 6th grade.
Ms. Dang Thi Kim Lanh said that she has worked at Nam Ha Tinh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company for 24 years, having held many different positions. Since 2018, she has held the position of Head of Production Department management until now.
Ms. Lanh's husband is a machine operator, working at Nam Ha Tinh Seafood Import-Export Joint Stock Company.
To facilitate work and take care of the family, for many years, we have brought our 2 children from Ky Khang commune to live in the company's collective house. The collective house is cramped, but we also try to overcome difficulties, as long as we are happy when all members are always together, so that parents have conditions to supervise and support their children in their studies and lives," Ms. Lanh shared.
Commendable achievements
In the process of working, Ms. Lanh herself always pays attention to innovating management methods, rationally assigning labor, strengthening inspection and supervision of production processes; promptly detecting and handling existing problems and limitations.
In trade union activities, she also always actively participates in emulation movements; proactively propagates and mobilizes union members and workers to well comply with regulations and rules, improve organizational discipline and industrial style.
With a spirit of responsibility, proactiveness, and creativity in work, for many consecutive years, Ms. Lanh has been a grassroots emulation soldier of the company; awarded Certificates of Merit by the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, and the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Busy and hard work, but Ms. Lanh always spends time taking care of her family. Always caring for and educating her children about morality, learning awareness and self-reliance; creating the best conditions for her children to develop comprehensively. The family maintains a cultural lifestyle, maintains solidarity, love, and respect for each other; actively participates in local movements, building a healthy and civilized living environment. In 5 consecutive years (2021 - 2025), Ms. Lanh's family has been recognized as "Cultural Family" at their place of residence.
At the company, for many years Ms. Lanh's husband, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan, achieved the title of advanced laborer, emulation soldier and was praised and rewarded by the unit, and awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Provincial Labor Federation.
Not only completing his work well at the company, Mr. Tuan also always accompanies, shares, and actively supports family work, clearly showing the role and responsibility of a husband and father.
The children of Mr. Tuan and Ms. Lanh's family are always obedient, have self-awareness in studying and training; achieve many good results in studying, and are recognized and rewarded by the school and local authorities.
According to the leaders of the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation, Ms. Lanh's family being praised by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor is very worthy. Hopefully, with that honor and pride, Ms. Lanh's family will continue to promote further to build a warm and happy family, contributing to the good development of society.
