On the morning of May 21, at the hall of the Ha Tinh Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated with the Provincial Economic Zone Management Board, the Department of Justice and the Provincial Social Insurance to organize a conference to propagate and disseminate legal education to businesses and workers in Vung Ang Economic Zone in 2026.
Attending the conference were representatives of leaders of relevant departments and sectors; Provincial Economic Zone Management Board; Provincial Labor Federation; Provincial Social Insurance, along with representatives of business leaders, trade union officials, personnel, salary, and occupational safety and health officials at enterprises in Vung Ang Economic Zone.
Speaking at the opening of the conference, Mr. Nguyen The Hoan - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation emphasized that propaganda and dissemination of laws play an important role in raising awareness and legal compliance of businesses and workers; contributing to building harmonious, stable, and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
Chairman of Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation requested delegates to focus on absorbing the contents of the topics, strengthening exchanges and discussions to effectively apply legal regulations to practice at the grassroots level.
At the conference, delegates listened to speakers conveying thematic topics: New points of the 2024 Trade Union Law; rights and responsibilities of trade union organizations and the impacts of the Law on businesses and employees; labor law according to the provisions of the 2019 Labor Code; propaganda on social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies according to the Law on Social Insurance effective from July 1, 2025.
In addition to the content of disseminating laws, the conference also devoted time for businesses and workers to exchange and discuss difficulties and obstacles arising in practice, contributing to improving the effectiveness of policy and law implementation at the grassroots level.
Through the conference, coordinating units continue to improve the effectiveness of legal propaganda work, contributing to building a safe, harmonious, stable and sustainable working environment in Vung Ang Economic Zone.
