News from Da Nang City Social Insurance on May 21st said: Hoi An Tay grassroots Social Insurance in coordination with Hoi An Ward Trade Union organized propaganda and dialogue on social insurance and health insurance policies for more than 100 officials, union members and employees of Hoi An Ward Trade Union.
This is an event within a series of activities in response to Workers' Month and the Month of mobilization and implementation of universal social insurance.
Attending the Conference were Mr. Le Nho Man - Director of Hoi An Tay Grassroots Social Insurance; Mr. Phung Huu - Chairman of Hoi An Ward Trade Union, along with the Executive Committee, Ward Trade Union Inspection Committee and a large number of union members and workers from affiliated grassroots trade unions.
At the conference, workers were updated on important new points of the Labor Code, the 2024 Trade Union Law and especially the 2024 Social Insurance Law.
Mr. Phung Huu - Chairman of Hoi An Ward Trade Union - directly disseminated the core contents of the 2024 Labor Code and Trade Union Law.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoai Dieu - Professional of Hoi An Tay Grassroots Social Insurance - informed and interpreted the basic contents of the Law on Social Insurance and guiding documents for implementation in a concise, practical, and easy-to-understand manner, helping workers easily access and grasp policies.
The highlight creating the exciting atmosphere of the Conference was the dialogue and direct consultation between employees and representatives of the Social Insurance agency and the Trade Union.
Many practical questions related to sickness, maternity, retirement, health insurance medical examination and treatment benefits and contents related to social insurance participation have been raised by union members and workers.
All opinions and concerns of employees were received and answered specifically and thoroughly by reporters and representatives of the social insurance agency right at the conference.
Through this, it not only helps workers better understand their rights and obligations when participating in social insurance and health insurance, but also contributes to removing difficulties and obstacles arising in reality.
Mr. Phung Huu - Chairman of Hoi An Ward Trade Union, representative of the organizing committee - shared that through this Conference, the two units wish to continue to raise awareness of union members and workers about the role, meaning and practical benefits of social insurance and health insurance policies.
