The 2025 Outstanding Enterprises for Workers Award is a particularly important event of profound social significance, to recognize and honor enterprises that have made many contributions to caring for workers' lives and building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Head of the program Steering Committee said that the Outstanding Enterprise for Workers Award is a particularly important event, with a profound social nature, organized by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry, to recognize and honor enterprises that truly consider workers as valuable capital, always paying attention to improving working conditions, caring for, improving the lives of workers, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations, towards sustainable development in the integration process.

Over 11 years of organization, the criteria of the Award have been constantly updated, improved, and affirmed their reputation, becoming a measure to help businesses self-assess, self-edited, and self-improvement to meet standards in caring for the interests of workers. Up to now, tens of thousands of businesses have registered to participate, 606 businesses have been selected for ranking, of which 264 businesses have been awarded certificates of merit from the award organizing agencies, 20 outstanding businesses have received Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister. In particular, many businesses have persistently and continuously participated in the program since the early days, in which many units have been continuously honored such as Garment Corporation 10 - Joint Stock Company honored for 10 consecutive years; Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company, 8 consecutive years; Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd. (SEV), 7 consecutive years...
According to the President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, each year, the program continuously welcomes many new participating enterprises. That affirms the development of the emulation movement to care for workers in both breadth and depth. Caring for workers is not just a simple slogan but has been increasingly realized, becoming clearer with very specific, practical policies, actions and actions that have a positive influence.
That is a vivid testament to the close relationship between businesses and workers. When businesses are developed, workers have jobs, stable income, conditions to promote and develop themselves and vice versa, employees are committed, creative, and highly productive, which are prerequisites for businesses to develop sustainably.
The Trade Union, union members and workers always hope that businesses will develop more and more, the business community will be more and more successful and reap many successes. We hope that each entrepreneur will clearly see the responsibility of individuals and businesses to have solutions and actions to increasingly better care for workers because caring for workers is caring for businesses Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang expressed.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang said that recently, the Politburo issued 4 important Resolutions: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation; Resolution No. 59-NQ/TW on international integration in the new situation; Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW on innovation in law-making and enforcement to meet the requirements of national development in the new era; Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW on private economic development. These are pillars, foundational institutions, creating strong motivation to move our country forward in the new era - the era of national growth, thereby realizing the vision of Vietnam's development and high income by 2045.
Specifically, the spirit of the above Resolutions, especially Resolution 57-NQ/TW and Resolution 68-NQ/TW, the Regulations on the "Enterprise for Workers" Award this year have changed in the direction of prioritizing the selection of enterprises focusing on innovation, private enterprises, enterprises with foreign investment capital, and joint-stock enterprises with state capital under 50%. Among the 28 honored enterprises, there are 22 enterprises in the non-state sector, including enterprises with a large number of workers such as: Samsung Electronics Vietnam Co., Ltd.; Luxshare Co., Ltd., Tan De Sports hang Manufacturing Joint Stock Company, Phong Phu International Joint Stock Company... The lives and jobs of workers of enterprises are always given priority with many good welfare regimes. The efforts of enterprises for workers are the community's responsibility with the Trade Union and society, contributing to motivating workers to work enthusiastically, contributing to increasingly high productivity and quality, for the development of enterprises, the country and for a better life for each worker.
On behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang warmly commended, thanked and congratulated the honored enterprises.
With the spirit of "Enterprises for workers - Workers for businesses", Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang believes that the emulation movement to care for workers will continue to be spread, so that there will be more and more businesses, solutions, models, and good practices in caring for and protecting workers' rights are replicated, thereby encouraging workers to strive, stick together, trust, and contribute their strength and intelligence to the sustainable development of businesses, contributing to bringing our nation into a new era of development.
On this occasion, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang respectfully thanked the attention and direction of the Party and State leaders for the Trade Union organization and the "Outstanding Enterprises for Workers" Program; thanked the close and effective coordination of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry; and praised the Organizing Committee, the Award Council and Lao Dong Newspaper for their impartial and objective work to contribute to the overall success of the program.
