On October 16, the Vinh Long Provincial Federation of Labor (VFF) organized the handover of 6 Union Shelters to union members with difficult housing circumstances at the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Mong Thi, a union member of Yazaki EDS Vietnam Co., Ltd., Hamlet 3, An Truong Commune.
The comrades received houses from many trade union establishments in the province, including civil servants and union members of production, garment, electronics and service companies.
Mr. Truong Thanh Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor said that from the beginning of 2025 to now, the Provincial Federation of Labor has disbursed and organized the handover of 59 Trade Union Shelters to union members and workers with housing difficulties.
The Federation of Labor acknowledged and congratulated the union members who were awarded Shelters today. This is a practical reward, demonstrating the concern of the Union, helping union members overcome difficulties and work with peace of mind.
According to Mr. Dung, in the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to implement other support programs to help many union members stabilize their housing, improve their lives, and contribute to building a united and humane working environment.
"The activity of giving away Trade Union Shelters shows the practical care of the Trade Union organization for the material and spiritual life of union members, spreading the spirit of mutual love and solidarity in the business community in the province," Mr. Dung added.
