These days, athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh of the Vietnamese athletics team is diligently training, entering the final stretch to prepare professionally for the important task at ASIAD 20. Athlete Nguyen Thi Oanh was once one of 6 outstanding individuals honored at the 2022 Vietnam Glory Program with the theme "Vietnamese Bravery". After that milestone, she still constantly strives, persistently spreading the beautiful values of Vietnamese sports and culture to international friends.
For Nguyen Thi Oanh, each competition is not only an opportunity to compete but also a journey to overcome her own limits. Currently, she is continuing to aim to conquer prestigious medals at ASIAD 20, contributing to bringing glory to the country's sports.
Not only Nguyen Thi Oanh, individuals and collectives who have been honored in the Vietnam Glory Program over the years are still persistently contributing, striving to rise up and continue writing beautiful stories with responsibility, will and aspiration to serve the country.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, Dr. Bach Thi Chinh - Medical Director of VNVC Vaccination System - said that for VNVC, the title Vinh Quang Viet Nam 2025 is not only the pride of a business, but also a recognition of the persistent efforts in the journey to improve preventive medicine capacity, expand access to high-quality vaccines for people and contribute to the sustainable development of the country. This is both a recognition and a motivation for all VNVC officials and employees to continue to innovate, invest and contribute more for the goal of protecting community health.
In the past year, that spirit has been concretized by clear results in three aspects including expanding the network of vaccination centers nationwide, bringing more new generation vaccines, monoclonal antibodies to Vietnam and investing in vaccine autonomy capacity in the future.
In 2025 and the first 7 months of 2026 alone, VNVC and partners have deployed many new generation vaccines and biological products such as pneumococcal vaccine 15 and 20, new generation meningococcal vaccine, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine, RSV monoclonal antibody, chickenpox vaccine and hepatitis B serum" - Dr. Bach Thi Chinh said.
In the near future, VNVC will continue to put into use the EV71 vaccine that causes hand, foot and mouth disease and many other important vaccines to help Vietnamese people have early access to many modern disease prevention solutions being used in the world.
Meanwhile, Mr. Nguyen Van Chinh - Director of Cuc Phuong National Park - said that being honored at the 2024 Vietnam Glory Program has become an important milestone, creating motivation for Cuc Phuong National Park to enter a new stage of development with many comprehensive achievements.
First of all, the brand and reputation of the unit have been clearly enhanced, becoming a typical model of nature conservation and sustainable development of Vietnam, creating a strong spread to the community, partners and international organizations. The team of officials and employees has gradually matured towards professionalism, integration, mastering technology and having the capacity to implement modern conservation programs.
Along with that, scientific research activities, international cooperation and mobilization of social resources continue to be expanded, creating a foundation for Cuc Phuong National Park to constantly innovate and develop.
In particular, the number of visitors, revenue and investment resources for conservation have all grown positively, forming a sustainable cycle. Cuc Phuong National Park is gradually affirming its role as an influential center for conservation, research, environmental education and ecotourism in the region" - Mr. Chinh shared.

That spirit is even more meaningful when 2026 is the first year the entire Party and people focus on implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress and strategic resolutions, opening up a new stage of development with the aspiration to bring the country into an era of reaching out.
In that context, the Vinh Quang Vietnam Program with the theme "Creating and Contributing" wishes to arouse and spread the spirit of creation and contribution throughout society; consolidate the determination to successfully implement the goals set out by the Resolution of the XIV Congress and strategic resolutions, and add motivation for each individual and collective to continue to innovate, rise up, contribute, and contribute to the cause of building a prosperous and happy country.
Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour - said that this year's program takes place in the context that the entire Party, people, and army are actively implementing the Resolution of the 14th Party Congress, promoting strategies on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation. This is also a practical activity towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026). Throughout the country's development process, the working class and laborers have always been the pioneering force in creating new values and dedicatedly contributing to the prosperity of the nation. To help workers maximize their capacity and creativity, the Trade Union organization is committed to continuing to strongly innovate, towards grassroots levels; closely coordinate with the State and businesses to build a safe, democratic and fair working environment.
Recently, the VGCL launched the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income"; focusing on fostering and replicating advanced examples; encouraging union members and workers to promote initiatives, apply science and technology to production and management practices. Each emulation movement must go into substance, become an opportunity for workers to promote their initiatives and creativity, thereby contributing to improving labor productivity, increasing income, and contributing to social development.
Born in 2004, the Vinh Quang Vietnam Program has honored 313 outstanding collectives and individuals. The program is not only an honoring ceremony but has become a profound humanistic forum, strongly spreading the patriotic emulation spirit of the Vietnamese people.
In 2026, the program will continue to honor 13 typical advanced examples, including 8 collectives and 5 individuals. They are dedicated scientists and doctors; pioneering entrepreneurs; soldiers of the armed forces maintaining peace for the Fatherland; diplomats, cultural figures, educators, and outstanding workers across the country.
The 22nd Vinh Quang Vietnam Program - 2026 will be held at 9:00 AM on July 28, 2026 at the Army Radio and Television Center, 165 Xa Dan, Hanoi.
Along with that, the program is broadcast live on VTV1 - Vietnam Television Station, broadcast live on Lao Dong Electronic Newspaper, Vietnam Trade Union Electronic Information Portal and many press and television agencies across the country.
