The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Food Safety has coordinated with the ward to investigate and handle the case.
It is known that according to the family of an employee, after having lunch at a company in Dong Hung Thuan ward, their relatives showed symptoms of vomiting and fatigue. Many other workers at the company also showed similar signs.
Previously, Ho Chi Minh City also recorded a food poisoning case related to the Ms. Bich toad loaf system, causing 235 people to be hospitalized at 13 hospitals in the area. Currently, most of the cases are temporarily stable, 1 case is severe due to underlying diseases and is being actively treated at Gia Dinh People's Hospital. The authorities have established an inspection team to collect bread samples and related ingredients for testing.
