On September 7, the Rach Dua Ward Trade Union said that the unit had coordinated with the Southeast Provincial Labor Safety and Hygiene Science and Technology Association to organize a workshop on occupational safety culture in enterprises.
Thereby, the workshop attracted about 100 grassroots union officials and officials working on occupational safety and hygiene to attend.
In the workshop, delegates were informed and raised awareness of the role and significance of building and developing a safety culture at enterprises; equipping union officials and occupational safety and hygiene officials with basic knowledge and skills in implementing and supervising the implementation of regulations on occupational safety and hygiene.
At the same time, promote the role of trade unions in protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers. Assist union officials to promptly grasp, understand correctly, fully and effectively implement occupational safety and hygiene work. On that basis, propaganda and guidance for workers on measures to ensure occupational safety and hygiene, limit possible technical incidents, occupational accidents, and occupational diseases.
In the workshop, delegates also participated in discussing and sharing typical incidents and lessons, meanings, and practical experiences; as well as difficulties and challenges in maintaining a safety culture, solutions and effective implementation tools.
