Manpower Company recommends prominent recruitment trends in Vietnam in 2026.

Soft skills will narrow their role

According to Manpower Company, in 2026, soft skills will narrow their role when only 4/12 industries mention soft skills among the most sought-after skills by businesses, down compared to 2025 (6/12 industries).

This change in recruitment trend reflects the trend of increasing priority for personnel with solid expertise in 2026 to promote growth.

Manpower demand for digital transformation is increasing sharply in all sectors

Accordingly, skills related to technology, digitization, and automation appear in the top skills searched by recruiters in 8/12 majors (an increase of 3 majors compared to last year).

Manpower said that the trend of digital transformation will be most clearly shown in the sectors of: Finance & Banking, energy & oil and gas, logistics & supply chains and manufacturing & engineering.

Artificial intelligence (AI) promises a lot of development potential and creates value for businesses. In Vietnam, the application of AI is not new, but it is expected to explode more strongly in 2026. AI is expected to optimize operating procedures, increase productivity, improve customer experience, and promote innovation. In particular, fields such as finance - banking, tourism & hotels, logistics & supply chains will be major sectors benefiting from this development.
