The unit will learn from the experience in each stage, review the cooking process, limit risky cooking ingredients and change desserts from flowers and fruits into yogurt and jelly.
According to the leader of this company, according to the unit's sample retention regulation, it is 24 hours. When the authorities came to check the lunch sample on July 21, the sample was out of stock. The origin of the insects in the rice tray was determined from the fallen guava fruit, which has not yet affected the health of workers. Therefore, the authorities did not take samples for inspection.
At noon on July 23, according to the reporter's records, in the company's kitchen, the cooking stages are guaranteed for food safety and hygiene. The kitchen area, chefs, and service staff are equipped with clothes and hygienic tools.
At around 11:30, workers arrived to receive the portion, dishes according to the lunch menu of July 23 included: Dried fish, nem, pickled melon, soup, and dessert portion including jelly and yogurt.
Talking to reporters, workers here said that many workers have not yet returned to the kitchen due to concerns about the rice tray problem.
According to these workers, there are currently no conclusions from the authorities, the company or the supplier have not explained the reason why foreign objects appear in the rice tray, causing many people to worry.
Responding to workers' questions, a representative of Life Brige Company Limited said that on July 23, the unit will work with the Food Safety Department - Lao Cai Provincial Department of Health to have specific conclusions about the origin and cause of the incident. After that, the Company and the authorities will be informed to grasp the information.

At the meeting, Mr. Phan Huy Cuong - Vice Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation pointed out that the above incident was partly due to Life Brige Company Limited. "Why did the unit not seal all the guava and change it to other types of flowers and desserts when it discovered that the guava fruit was damaged? Meanwhile, only certain fruits are left, the rest are still given to workers for use," said Mr. Cuong.
According to the leader of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation, the most important thing at present is to clarify where the insects in the rice tray come from, why they are in the workers' meat, then clearly answer in writing, clarify the responsibility of each stage and each person to reassure the workers.
Previously, on July 21, the company's kitchen included the following dishes: White rice, fried catfish, stir-fried pumpkin, rice noodles, sausage fried rice, fried pork belly, yogurt, and dessert guava for 1,100 meals.
In a worker's rice tray, an unusual foreign object was discovered. After checking and looking closely, the foreign object moved on the rotated meat of the rice tray, like a tree still alive. According to the nutritionist, it is very likely that the insect that survived the feeding in the guava had been roasted outside, and during that process fell into the meat in the rice tray of the workers.
Previously, in April 2021, at Unico Global YB Garment Company, there were 84 workers showing signs of food poisoning, of which 29 people had to be hospitalized for treatment, the remaining 55 people showed less mild symptoms.
