A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN) announced that it has completed the acquisition of TrojAI - a company specializing in artificial intelligence (AI) security, focusing on supporting organizations to protect, test and manage AI applications as well as workflows using AI agents (agentic workflows).
This deal strengthens A10's ability to provide sovereign AI security solutions, helping customers control how and where to protect their AI models, data and AI agents.
TrojAI provides 2 layers of AI security. The first is the "red teaming" service, which helps to check and evaluate models, agents and AI applications to detect vulnerabilities right in the development stage. The second is the real-time protection capability, which helps to defend against threats when the AI system is running. This combination allows organizations to deploy generative AI and agent AI faster and safer.
“AI is changing both the way businesses build products and the attack surfaces they need to protect. Traditional security solutions are not designed to handle unidentified models and automated agents. TrojAI is a perfect addition to A10 both strategically and operationally.
Combining our hardware-based AI firewall with red teaming and real-time protection technologies based on TrojAI software will help customers deploy AI faster and more confidently, while protecting AI models, data and agents without affecting the low latency and high availability they expect from A10. This applies to all deployment environments, from on-premises, cloud to hybrid models.
For customers with strict data ownership requirements, this solution allows them to exploit AI while retaining the most important assets in the environment they control themselves." - Mr. Dhrupad Trivedi, Chairman and CEO of A10 Networks said.
After completing the deal, A10 plans to integrate TrojAI's technologies into its developing security solution portfolio, allowing customers to operate AI safely wherever their data is stored.
Mr. Lee Weiner - CEO of TrojAI shared: "Public sector businesses and organizations are applying AI at an unprecedented rate, and at the same time need to innovate safely, while maintaining control over their AI security infrastructure. Along with A10, we can protect and manage AI models, agents and applications that are becoming a core component in the operations of organizations. I am very proud of what the TrojAI team has built and excited to bring these capabilities to customers as well as A10's partner ecosystem.
A10 said that this deal is expected not to have a significant impact on financial results in fiscal year 2026. However, the company is in a favorable position to support the need to deploy AI and AI applications in the next 2 to 5 years.
