Apple is preparing to announce the next major upgrade to the user interface, called Liquid Glass. This new design style will bring a flat and transparent effect like glass surfaces, applied to the toolbar, in-app interface and controls.
While it may seem like a formal change, Apple's entire user interface renewal is a rare thing. The last major change came from iOS 7.
A leak revealed that Liquid Glass could be prepared by Apple for an iPhone 20 anniversary event next year. It is expected that this special iPhone model will have curved edges surrounding the entire device, including the edges, along with ultra-thin display edges and no missing areas to synchronize with the new design language.
Previously, many rumors suggested that Apple was inspired by the Vision Pro mixed reality glasses to shape the style of the future iPhone. With Liquid Glass, Apple can unify the interface across the entire ecosystem from iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch to Apple TV, making switching between devices more seamless in terms of images.
