Within the framework of Vietnam Chain Technology and Artificial Intelligence Week 2025 - Super Vietnam 2025 - which just opened on June 4, Da Nang City held a plenary Conference on connecting and developing block technology and artificial intelligence 2025.
With the theme "Emerging Tech: Creative unity, future orientation", the conference aims to affirm the role of the technology ecosystem in socio-economic development, the Government's guiding and supporting policies for science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Ho Ky Minh - Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee said that Da Nang is currently orienting to strongly develop digital financial services, fintech and blockchain. These are key areas to promote digital transformation and the city's digital economy.
Modern fintech models, such as electronic payments, e-wallets and blockchain-based lending, are making Da Nang an attractive destination for financial technology businesses.
Da Nang also focuses on building digital infrastructure through digital financial sandbox models and free trade zones, creating an open testing environment, promoting creativity and innovation. This is a strategic step to make Da Nang a leading digital financial center in the region, strongly connected to the global financial network.
In addition, Da Nang is also preparing necessary steps to develop an international financial center, creating a platform for cross-border transactions and connecting with the global financial market, in line with the orientation of digital economic development and international integration.
"I believe that, with this orientation, Da Nang will not only be a digital technology center, but also a destination for innovative and breakthrough startup ideas in the region" - Vice Chairman of Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said.
Informing about Vietnam's national strategy on blockchain and AI, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen - Deputy Director of the Department of Information Technology Industry (Ministry of Science and Technology) - said that the Party and State have great expectations for science and technology, considering this a mandatory choice to better serve people's lives.
According to Dr. Nguyen Thanh Tuyen, the development of AI has turned businesses into smart businesses, the economy into a smart economy. Not only technology but also a strategic lever to improve productivity.
Currently, AI is present in all areas of life. In particular, the team of civil servants is being trained to use AI to serve work to improve productivity.
