Within the framework of the 1st Ho Chi Minh City Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, the delegation had a program to visit typical economic - cultural - social - defense and security models in the city, including VNG Group Joint Stock Company. The tour activities took place on the morning of October 12 at VNG's official headquarters in Ho Chi Minh City (VNG campus), before the official opening of the Congress.
In the draft Political Report of the city, the socio-economic development orientation for the 2025-2030 term clearly identified major goals, emphasizing the need to develop the digital economy, innovate, green transformation, reduce emissions, and at the same time promote the role and social responsibility of businesses.
Therefore, the Organizing Committee of the Congress chose two destinations, VNG and the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History, for the delegates to research, discuss, and draw practical lessons for the Congress.
Two hundred delegates, led by Mr. Duong Anh Duc, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, visited and worked.
Speaking at the opening of the tour, Mr. Duong Anh Duc emphasized that VNG is one of the technology cong stations in Vietnam, a company valued at billions of USD. The founders of VNG are all in Ho Chi Minh City and are currently very successful. He emphasized that visiting a company that brings pride to Vietnam like VNG is the pride of the delegates.
Mr. Duong Anh Duc also said that VNG campus headquarters has an open space, bringing a comfortable working feeling, where technology engineers can promote their abilities and strengths. I also hope that if our State agencies are organized in this form and under such conditions, civil servants can further promote their capacity to contribute to the development of the city, said Mr. Duc.
According to Mr. Duc, after the Party Congress, the delegates will implement the Party Congress Resolution in the fastest and most effective way, coming into life to join hands to develop the city sustainably, with noble responsibilities, when the city has a much larger scale than before. He hopes that after the visit, the delegates will learn more from VNG's experience to apply it to their daily work, in order to increase productivity and work efficiency.
At the end of his speech, Mr. Duong Anh Duc wished VNG to continue to be the pride of Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam, to have more technology products known in the world.
On behalf of VNG, Mr. Le Hong Minh - Founder and Chairman of VNG thanked the delegation for taking the time to visit VNG campus, as well as introducing VNG's more than 20-year development journey, with many outstanding products that have been used by many people, contributing a lot to the community.
