On the morning of August 19, at Bac Son Secondary & High School, Tuyen Lam commune, Quang Tri Provincial Youth Union in coordination with the Center for Science, Technology and Young Talent Development (Central Youth Union) organized the 2026 "Digital Literacy Day".
The activity is implemented to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, and at the same time associated with the Project "Vietnamese youth accompanying youth in border areas in the period 2025-2030".
At the "Digital Literacy" class, grassroots officials, teachers, union members, and youth in the commune are guided on essential digital skills, associated with work and daily life.

The content focuses on using online public services, electronic identification applications, ensuring information security and protecting digital identity. Through this, participants gain more knowledge to use digital platforms safely and effectively in work and life.
For students, activities are organized in the direction of enhancing experience, practice and encouraging creativity. At the "Programming with AI" contest, students get acquainted with the Vibe Coding trend, using natural languages and artificial intelligence tools to develop ideas into technology products.
The Golden Bell program "Enhancing Digital Capacity" helps students consolidate knowledge about digital transformation, information security and technology application in learning and life.
Along with learning activities, the festival arranges STEAM/STEM, science, technology and Robotics spaces with many experiential contents such as virtual reality glasses, "Talented Bridge and Road Engineer" and "Water Rocket Race".

Through directly exploring, practicing and performing experiential tasks, students have more opportunities to access science and technology in an intuitive and vivid way; and at the same time train creative thinking and technology application skills.
The "Digital Literacy Day" in Tuyen Lam commune is an activity to concretize the policy of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation, thereby contributing to improving digital capacity and narrowing the digital gap in border areas.
In the coming time, Youth Union levels and the "Digital Literacy in Border Areas" team will continue to bring digital knowledge and skills to people, union members, and youth at the grassroots level, in accordance with the needs and conditions of each locality.
