The launching ceremony was held on the morning of October 11, at the Youth Cultural House, to concretize the policies of the Party, State and Ho Chi Minh City on digital transformation, associated with the accompanying role of the Fatherland Front in propagating and raising awareness for the people.
The goal of the movement is to popularize basic digital knowledge and skills to the people, ensuring an "all-people, comprehensive, no one is left behind" approach. The movement will arouse the spirit of proactive learning, training and applying digital skills in the whole society, contributing to promoting the mastering role of the people in the comprehensive digital transformation process of Ho Chi Minh City.
The launching ceremony was chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, with the organizer being the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center. The event was coordinated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the Department of Science and Technology.
After the launching ceremony, response activities will be organized simultaneously in 168 communes, wards, and special zones by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations, helping people "understand - do - use immediately".
Community digital technology groups will implement specific contents, including:
- Instructs people to install the "HCMC Digital Citizen Application".
- Update electronic health books.
- Install and look up essential applications such as VNeID, VSSID, E-tax...
- Giving digital signatures to people.
The movement is committed to implementing it methodically, scientifically, flexibly, creatively, and closely following reality. The content and form of the launch are close, easy to understand, practical, and closely linked to the practical needs of the people.
