According to reporters' records, when accessing Facebook or Messenger, many users receive error messages, cannot download news feeds, cannot view content and cannot use the messaging function.

On other social networking platforms, many users said they were pushed out of their Facebook and Messenger accounts at the same time. Some cases re-enter passwords but the system still does not allow login or continuously reports errors.
The incident appeared simultaneously on both mobile applications and web versions. Many users are concerned that their accounts are being attacked, however, the fact that a series of accounts are experiencing similar situations at the same time shows that it is highly likely a system error from Meta.
Previous Facebook shutdowns also caused users to be massively logged out and unable to access the service for hours. There has been no official announcement about the cause of the incident from the publisher.
Users are advised not to rush to change passwords or perform account recovery operations if the cause is not clearly identified. In case this is a system error, services will usually be restored after completing the incident processing.
