The People's Committee of Da Nang City has just agreed to lease 2,298m2 to VSAP LAB Joint Stock Company at ICT1 Building, Da Nang Software Park No. 2 to implement the Laborator project to serve the production of advanced packaging technology for semiconductor microchips in Da Nang.
The Laborator Project for the production of advanced packaging technology for semiconductor microchips is invested by VSAP LAB Joint Stock Company, with a total capital of VND1,800 billion.
VSAP LAB Joint Stock Company rents 2,298m2 at ICT1 Building, Software Park No. 2 Da Nang. The products and services provided include advanced packaging and testing in the semiconductor field. The designed capacity is up to 10 million products/year. Land use term is 50 years.
The implementation progress is registered in many stages: completing legal procedures from the second to third quarters of 2025; starting construction in the fourth quarter of 2025; construction from the fourth quarter of 2025 to the second quarter of 2026; and putting into operation in the third and fourth quarters of 2026.
The project aims to concretize the practical and important requirements of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (December 22, 2024) of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation and Decision No. 1018/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister: Issue the Strategy for the development of Vietnam's semiconductor industry to 2030 and vision 2050; implement key content results in the Project for the development of semiconductor and artificial intelligence in Da Nang city on building a platform for the development of semiconductor and artificial intelligence and the development of the semiconductor and artificial intelligence ecosystem.
