The Organizing Committee of the Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (02.9.1945 - 23.9.2025) was established in Decision No. 72/QD-BCD dated June 10, 2025.
According to the above Decision, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is the Head of the Organizing Committee.
Deputy Heads of the Committee include Mr./Ms: Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ta Quang Dong - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee; Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Dinh Thi Mai; Deputy Chief of the Party Central Committee Office Vo Thanh Hung; Deputy Head of the National Assembly Office Vu Minh Tuan; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha; Deputy Director of the Department of Doctrine - Literature, Government Office Dao Duy Tuan.
Members of the Organizing Committee are Leaders of a number of ministries, departments, branches, localities and Vingroup Corporation.
The functions, tasks and powers of the Organizing Committee are inter-sectoral coordination, with the function of assisting the Steering Committee in implementing the Exhibition according to the approved Project.
The Organizing Committee is responsible for advising, proposing, and developing a Plan to implement specific tasks to submit to the Steering Committee for approval; preparing content and conditions for organizing the Exhibition; directly directing relevant units to closely coordinate in organizing the Exhibition.
Report to the Steering Committee on progress, results as well as difficulties and problems arising in the implementation process to have a timely solution.
In addition, the Organizing Committee works on a part-time basis, promoting personal responsibility, and performing tasks assigned by the Head of the Organizing Committee.
The Exhibition Organizing Committee uses the seal of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in performing its duties.
The Exhibition Organizing Committee has supporting subcommittees including: Subcommittee on content; Subcommittee on Propaganda; Subcommittee on Finance; Subcommittee on Foreign Affairs; Subcommittee on announcement; Subcommittee on New Ceremonies, Logistics and Facilities; Subcommittee on Security, Order and Health and Standing Department.
The Organizing Committee self-dissolved after completing its tasks.
