Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21,25 - June 21, 2025), the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union held the National Press Award Ceremony for the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement in 2025.
The Jury and the Organizing Committee decided to award 1 A prize, 1 B prize, 2 C prizes, and 3 Encouragement prizes for each category of print, electronic, radio, and television newspapers.
In addition to the traditional categories for print, electronic, radio and television newspapers, this year's Award has expanded the award categories with 1 Best Journalism Photo and 2 Best Multimedia Journalism works.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee decided to award a separate prize system to press works written about children, team work and the children's movement with 1 A prize, 1 B prize, 1 C prize.
The Organizing Committee also awarded 2 Collective Prizes to news agencies, newspapers, provinces, cities, and affiliated delegations that actively participated in responding, sending, and proposing the most entries.
At the award ceremony, in the multi-medium press category, Lao Dong Newspaper was one of two press agencies to win the Best Work Award with the work "The brave young generation of Vietnam - firmly entering the era of national growth" by the group of authors: Thieu Thi Thu Trang, Pham Vu Linh, Tran Thi Hong Hanh.
Reporter Thieu Thi Thu Trang - representative of the group of authors shared: "Our work that won the award this time is written about typical young Vietnamese faces, examples of intelligence and strength, bringing their strength to contribute to the country in the era of national growth.
I am honored that my work was recognized on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Vietnam Revolutionary Press - a special milestone to look back on the leading, inspiring and accompanying role of the press in the country's development journey. This award is also a motivation for us to continue to stick with the Youth Union, young people, and accompany young people in the mission of continuing to write the heroic history of the nation".

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang expressed his joy at the spread of this year's Award with more than 400 entries from central and local press agencies and provinces, cities, and affiliated delegations.
The works participating in this year's competition are of very good quality, showing constant innovation and creativity in the method of expression, from print newspapers, electronic newspapers, radio, television to all genres of multimedia journalism, press photos.
Many works have analyzed and proposed practical solutions for the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement, contributing to orienting and educating the younger generation.
From those results, the Jury and the Organizing Committee selected and decided to award the awards for the best works. "I warmly congratulate all you, reporters, editors, and press agencies that have won awards this year. This is not only a recognition of the contributions of the brothers and sisters, but also a great source of encouragement for us to continue to stick together and accompany in the journey ahead" - Secretary of the Central Youth Union Nguyen Pham Duy Trang expressed.
