Engadget reported that the Chinese brand has introduced a smartwatch called Watch Buds, a combination of wireless headphones and smartwatches.
Official details about the watch have not yet been released as the company has delayed its winter launch event, which was scheduled to take place in early December, but there are some clues about how the new design works.
Huawei Central has collected photos showing headphones attached to the bottom of the face and lying neatly in the noose when closing the watch. This design is similar to the Watch GT series, complete with a steel case and leather strap, and is said to run Huawei's internal HarmonyOS operating system.
While the specifications are still a mystery, it would be no surprise if the device had a large battery pack as it would power both the watch and headphones.
It is unclear when Huawei will officially announce the Watch Buds product and launch, but it is almost certain that it will not be launched in the US with Huawei not being welcomed in this market.
Although it has a unique and strange design, with this smartwatch model with headphones, users can listen to music on the go without bringing anything else. This could be Huawei's advantage in the smartwatch market in the future.
