The Hung Yen Provincial Startup and Innovation Contest 2026 is organized to inspire and spread the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation; arouse passion, creative ideas and the spirit of daring to think and dare to do in the community.
Through the Contest, Hung Yen province aims to discover, honor and support potential startup ideas and projects; gradually form and develop a startup and innovation ecosystem, contributing to improving Hung Yen's competitiveness and position on the national innovation startup map.
According to the Organizing Committee, the Competition is organized in 2 rounds including the preliminary round and the final round. Up to now, the Organizing Committee, the Judging Panel, the Expert Group and the Secretariat have been established. Documents serving the organization of the Competition such as regulations and rules for judging have also been issued.
After a period of receiving applications, the Organizing Committee received 85 projects from 59 focal units registering to participate. The projects focus on 2 fields: technology startups and startups with innovative business models.
According to the decision to establish the Expert Group, Mr. Dam Quang Thang is one of the two Deputy Heads, jointly participating in organizing the evaluation, scoring of dossiers, presentations and answering questions from authors and groups of authors.
A notable point of this year's Contest is the wide field scope, but focusing on encouraging ideas and projects associated with technology trends and local strengths. Through this, Hung Yen expects to discover new models, products and solutions capable of solving practical problems, contributing to promoting socio-economic development based on science, technology, innovation and digital transformation.
The contest also aims to attract talents, investment resources and support organizations to the creative startup ecosystem of the province; and at the same time promote existing startup support programs and policies in the locality.
In the long term, promoting projects based on technology, intellectual property, new business models and digital transformation is expected to contribute to enhancing Hung Yen's image and position on the national creative startup map.
